Opportunities
We’re hiring!
We are looking for talented graduate students to join the TBL. If you are interested in interdisciplinary translational research in a dynamic environment, working alongside clinicians and other scientists to accelerate new optical and computational technologies towards clinical application, contact us!
The Translational Biophotonics Laboratory (TBL) is located on the traditional Uptown campus as well as the Downtown Medical Center Campus, of Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. TBL members enjoy laboratory space in the J. Bennett Johnston building, co-located with Tulane University Hospital and Tulane University School of Medicine, as well as laboratory space in the Lindy Boggs center on the Uptown (St. Charles) Campus. In addition to a number of collaborations with colleagues at Tulane, the TBL also has ongoing clinical collaborations and studies with colleagues at Ochsner Medical Center, University Medical Center, and also maintains close ties with the New Orleans Bioinnovation Center. The TBL is affiliated with the Department of Biomedical Engineering (celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2017!), the Tulane Cancer Center, and the Tulane Institute for Interdisciplinary Engineering in Health and Medicine (TI2EHM).
